A month of exploring mental wellness, positivity, happiness, and self discovery across an amazing array of platforms!
Tomorrow kicks off the virtual book tour for my debut book, MY JOURNAL! For each stop, we will visit a different site to offer author interviews, book reviews, behind-the-scenes content, excerpts from the book, guest posts by the author, and more. For the tour, stops will be on Substack, LinkedIn, Podcasts, Instagram, Facebook, and blogs - building community and supporting the work of some amazing people. I am so grateful for the opportunity to share my work on such incredible platforms. It all starts tomorrow, which is “World Teen Mental Health Day.”

Saturday, March 2 (World Teen Mental Health Day)
Angela Williams, founder of Angela’s Voice, will kick off the tour by posting a Q&A with the author on her LinkedIn about the power of journaling and how it can be an effective tool for teens struggling with mental wellness. Angela is an author and survivor-turned-advocate armed with a master's in forensic psychology specializing in child abuse. She has dedicated her life to advocating for child abuse awareness, prevention, and healing Her newest book, Loving Me: After Abuse, unveils a courageous narrative where she shares her raw and candid voice, shedding light on her own abuse trauma, struggles, and triumphant journey to healing.
Sunday, March 3 (I Want You to Be Happy Day)
The tour stops on my Instagram, where I’ll share something special on I Want You to Be Happy Day about how we can brighten someone’s day through simple acts of kindness and selflessness. I will also GIVE AWAY a signed copy of my book!

Tuesday, March 12 (National Working Moms Day)

Rob Swymer, author of the bestselling book Surrender to Your Adversity, will share an excerpt along with an interview with the author on LinkedIn. Rob is a certified life coach and a global speaker about overcoming adversity and building your resilience muscle, building stronger connections with the ones we love and the customers we serve. In his book, Rob shares his tough challenges—the unexpected death of his wife, substance abuse, depression, and lifelong learning disabilities–and demonstrates that whatever adversities we may encounter don’t have to be permanent setbacks.
Thursday, March 14
Rogier van Kralingen, author of The Whole Story: The Ultimate Guide to Storytelling, will share a review. Rogier is an award-winning writer, speaker, musician, and founder of The Whole Story. He has several hundreds of stories in the private, public, and cultural sectors under his belt, both as an executive producer and hands-on storyteller, ranging from narratives in business, journalism, branding, corporate, film, television, science, and music.
Friday, March 15
Marije Paternotte, who teaches yoga and mindfulness, will share a review. Marije was born and raised in Amsterdam, where she studied law and worked as a corporate lawyer. After joining a yoga retreat in Bali, life led her to the United States, where she took her first yoga teacher training. She currently lives in a small beach town in New Jersey with her husband and two cats and teaches yoga and meditation around the world. Marije is an endorsed Insight Yoga teacher by Sarah and Ty Powers' Insight Yoga Institute.

She came to this niche through her own experience of crocheting through life-threatening depression, a story she told in part in her book Crochet Saved My Life. She went on to spend over a decade researching the mental and physical health benefits of crochet and crafting while obtaining her Master’s Degree in Psychological Studies.Tuesday, March 26

Warriors Unmasked will wrap up the tour by sharing an interview on their podcast. Warriors Unmasked is a show that takes a deep dive into the life journeys of professional and amateur athletes/coaches, military personnel, first responders, and even those next door. Co-hosts Chuck Thuss and Clint Malarchuk share in-depth stories and personal experiences, speaking open-heartedly and honestly with guests like Tyler Pelke, Allan Kehler, Corey Hirsch, and many more.
